Hi there
I use okta to log into my different aws accounts. I use the AWS Single Sign-On app.
I'm looking for a way to use this app - or any other app/integration to create a deep link to a page in the aws console.
The app takes me to the default landing page - but I want to share deep links to specific pages in aws service consoles with my team, and have those links only be usable if logged in and verified by okta.
How can I achieve this?

Hi @whcle (whcle),
Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
You could use the Bookmark application functionality from Okta where you would configure the deep link because this way when you will access the app (Bookmark), you will be re-directed to the link configured. Additionally, if you already have an AWS domain configured with Okta once you access the page (if it is protected by SAML) the authentication will go through Okta as well if you do not have an active session.
On another note, the Okta Community Catalysts Program is now live. Collect online badges when you participate in the Okta Help Center Questions community. Learn more here.
I am looking for a way to generate a deep link to any aws console URL. I don't want to need an okta admin to set up a static set of bookmarks.
Here's an example use-case. We operate services and regularly need to investigate operational issues and share context with our team. Some example cases that can come up during an investigation
These are not useful beyond their context (like being pasted into an issue to track a problem that must be fixed) and do not make sense as permanent bookmarks.
We'd like to be able to construct URLs for any aws console link on-the-fly which will let anyone on our team with appropriate okta access go diretctly to those pages on the aws console.
