Hi @ShivangG.63054 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

The Provisioning integration needs to leverage the Salesforce Admin permissions to establish the API connection. As such, I recommend validating the Salesforce credentials by using another browser or an incognito/private window in the browser to avoid any session conflicts (for examples session cookies or saved credentials).

Once the credentials are confirmed in Salesforce, close (to clear any cookies) and open a new incognito window, then sign in to the Okta Admin dashboard and attempt the configuration again from there.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!

Thank you! However, this did not resolve the issue. Multiple browsers and users on different machines entirely. 2 different profile attempts (1 System Admin, 1 custom system admin without any delegated administration permissions). Do you have other suggestions?

    • Mihai N. (Okta, Inc.)

      Hi @6se7r (6se7r),

I've looked deeper into this and it might be related to Release 2022.08.0.

You might need to do a rollback of the PROV_SALESFORCE_REST_UPGRADE feature from our end for your org, then discuss with Salesforce Support on how to get the proper credentials for the Salesforce REST Oauth.

That being said, this is not the proper medium for in depth troubleshooting.

Please open a case to have this investigated by our Support Engineers.

Thank you very much Mihai! I have opened a case and gone that route. Have an amazing day/night!

    Mihai,

Can you confirm what the resolution was for this case? We are facing the similar issue while authenticating with connected app credentials.

    • Mihai N. (Okta, Inc.)

      Hi @Lathav.91154 (Customer) ,

I'm not handling the case, I've just pointed people in the right direction.

Perhaps @6se7r (6se7r) can tell us how and if the issue was resolved.

Otherwise, I would suggest opening a case as well to have things properly investigated.
