Disable assignement of associated application to the Okta user

Hi

When we deactivate user account on target application which is integrated with Okta, how do we disable assignement of associated application to the Okta user. Does upstream provisionning does it automaticaly, or do we need to use workflow to disable application assignement for this user?

It usually works the other way - remove the app assignment in Okta and allow downstream provisioning (if enabled) to deactivate the user in the application. Even with Workflows, the application would need some way to trigger a workflow whenever a user is deactivated. It can be done, but it depends on the capabilities of the application.
