Hi Community,
I would like to integrate Okta with Linux servers. For testing purposes, I created a developer account. I added "Radius Application" in okta. I downloaded and installed OktaRadiusAgent on the server. It asked me my okta URL and I added it, it asked proxy added no. In the end, it asked me to copy the URL and past it in the browser which I did and pressed allowed. I created the same user that I have on the server and assigned a radius application. However, when I try to access the server the okta authentication is not popping up. It is the same as that what it used to be without a radius. The documentations are not clear, I followed the documentation though.
Can someone please help me to set it up? I would like to have server access through okta, once it is authenticated then I should be able to login to the server. Thank you for your help.

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for posting on our community portal.
The RADIUS Agent is not designed to grant access to linux servers. It is to be used as a additional security layer for VPN applications that support external PAP authentication.
I believe Okta Advanced Server Access would fit your description better.
Please check our documentation: https://help.okta.com/asa/en-us/Content/Topics/Adv_Server_Access/docs/asa-overview.htm
