Are you able to do nested groups? + question regarding profile properties and better grouping of user types
Hi All,
We have people trialing our product that fall into different kinds of investor types (Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, etc).
Currently they are all in the trial user group, which we sync up with Heap to be able to monitor their sessions and see who is active. However, we'd like to go one step further and be able to break down the trial users by their investor type segment.
As far as I've seen, there is no way to nest groups within each other.
I played around with profile properties as well but did not get very far. Does anyone have an idea as how to best do this?

At this time Okta does not support nested groups.
You can try to use Group Rules to place users into groups or move them around based on Group membership or specific attributes. please see our doc for this matter below:
