PaulK.72449 (Customer) asked a question.

Transition end users from Okta Mobile to browser dashboard

Hi everyone

For 2 customers I got a mail from OKTA about the need to transition OKTA Mobile to the browser dashboard. The help text behind the link, however, is far from helpful to me.

Can someone explain to me what should be done for the move to "Okta Identity Engine"?

Thanks!

Paul

Hi @PaulK.72449 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

To cover both of the matters:

    1. "transition OKTA Mobile to the browser dashboard." - means that customers who use the dedicated Okta Mobile app (to be deprecated), will have to use the mobile browsers (Chrome, Safari etc) instead to login to their Okta Dashboard by going and signing in to *your-sub-domain.okta.com
    2. Eventually, all Okta customers will be migrated automatically to the new Okta Identity Engine, but until then you can reach out to your Okta Customer Success Manager or Account Executive to discuss in details how the transition will affect your orgs. I'm not sure if you had a chance to look at this yet, but here are some docs to give you some details. Please be sure to look at the comparison doc (Classic Engine vs Identity Engine) as well as limitations.
