About compulsion of Okta when using SWA

※Using translation

When using SAML app integrations,

if you try to log in from the application login page,

you can log in to the app after being redirected to Okta and passing Okta's authentication (you are forced to use Okta)

However,

When using SWA app integrations,

If you enter your user ID and password from the application login page, you can log in without Okta authentication.

So, I want to know if it is possible to enforce Okta authentication when using SWA

    Hi @Áî±Âí剺ä.33232 (Customer),

Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!

I have done some research on my end in regards to your question and it seems that is not possible to enforce Okta authentication when using SWA as an SSO method because Secure Web Authentication was designed to only insert the users credentials when they land on the application login page.

I hope the above information is useful!
