Lattice location mapping

Dear Support,

We are using Okta with Lattice and our problem is that Okta doesn't have location as mapped in the Lattice integration. We cannot change the location setting in Lattice at states that it is already integrated. How can we solve this, is there any mapping attribute we can add? Thanks for your help.

    Hi @k1hy6 (k1hy6),

Thank you for posting on our Okta community page to help you troubleshoot!

You could try to bring the attribute "location" from the application side through the schema by going to the app profile in Okta, on the Provisioning tab. Here you can scroll down and you should be able to find the Profile Editor option.

On the Profile editor you can click on Add Attribute and see if the location attribute appears there. If it appears, you can simply add it and furtherly map it based on your needs.

If the "location" attribute does not appear in the schema, please make sure that is not already added in the attributes list as a not mapped attribute. When you scroll down on the Provisioning tab (Okta Application Profile) you should see an option entitled "Show Unmapped attributes" and here you might find the attribute in question.

On another note, I have done some research on my own tenant and when I tried to configure the application, I have noticed that the provisioning integration is partner-built by Lattice therefore you might as well try to reach out to them to see if they have more insight on the location attribute.
