sxeum (sxeum) asked a question.

Verification failed: Failed to login to Jira. HTTP error 404

Hello,

I am trying to enable provisioning between OKTA and JIRA through the API but I get the attached error.

I have tried several Jira accounts and they all give the same error, and I have verified that I can access them with them. They are also Jira administration accounts.

What can be?

I do not know what else I can look to see where the problem can arise.

Thanks!

  • Hello @sxeum (sxeum)

I hope you are having a great day

Thank you for posting, this doesn't seems to be an issue with authenticating the credentials. A 404 is an HTTP status code that indicates the resource could not be found. Please navigate to the "General" tab and confirm the value input for the "Your JIRA URL" field. Please also see the help text below to ensure the URL is correctly formatted. This URL is leveraged for Okta to know the endpoint to connect to for authenticating your API credentials.

If you require further assistance with this problem we may need to take a look in the logs to determine the correct Root cause so we can provide you the best solution for your deployment, you can use the link below as a reference to reach our helpdesk team:

    Have a great day ahead

Thank you very much for the quick answer.

I have managed to solve the 404 error, I was entering a wrong API TOKEN.

But now I get the following error and in this case I don't know why it could be, I have verified that the Jira URL is correct, the login account is correct, the api is correct, the group exists and it is correct, what else could be evil?

    Thanks!
