kcrb8 (kcrb8) asked a question.
Can OKTA push/pull data from a contact in Salesforce or is this functionality limited to the user object?
Goal is to maintain the same data in Okta as will be found in Salesforce. We were considering using more attributes in Okta but it seems the push/pull isn’t available on the contact, where that data would be useful.
Also, if the contact push/pull isn’t available and someone fat-fingers their name, the contact in Salesforce is going to have the incorrect name unless it is manually updated on the Salesforce end. Is there a commonly known work-around for this scenario?
Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

Hi @kcrb8 (kcrb8) ,
Thanks for your enquiry, I have done some research and currently Custom Attributes to Salesforce Contact Object are not supported, you can see further details in the following document;
https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Provisioning/Salesforce/sfdc-custom-attributes.htm
Checking on Okta Ideas I found that this feature has already been requested, please feel free to visit the site and vote for it; https://ideas.okta.com/app/#/case/110198
Hope this information results beneficial to answer your question.
Kind regards,
Fernanda Davila.
