I have just started at a new company that recently installed OKTA MFA. I am new to OKTA and would like something that shows the process flow of how the agent is inserting itself into the authentication process to better understand what is going on.

Hello @WillK.65919 (Customer)
Thanks for posting.
MFA is a large topic and one of the best features Okta provides,
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is an added layer of security used to verify an end user's identity when they sign in to an application.
An Okta admin can configure MFA at the organization or application level. If both levels are enabled, end users are prompted to confirm their credentials with factors when signing in to Okta and when accessing an application.

Supported MFA factors
Depending on your company's MFA option you will be interested into specific documentation, however above you can find the necessary to understand how it works for each factor.
Let us know if this helps you.
Have a great day!

I am looking for a process flow that shows all the steps. I found this that is close, but does not have everything. https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/integrations/radius-best-pract-flow.htm
Our AD controllers have the okta AD agent and the RADIUS agent. I want to find something like that flow diagram that shows all the the steps. IE. An internal workstation attempts to login. What is intercepting that authentication process and how does it go from there.
