  • Hello @sqfr1 (sqfr1),

    Thanks for Posting.

If you are able to log in to Okta using a different factor:

    1. Click your name on the dashboard.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Scroll to Security Methods, there you will see the devices registered.
    4. Select Remove.
    5. Follow the enrollment process to enroll the new device (or to re-enroll a device restored from backup)

    Security methods

Let us know if this helps you.

    Regards,

That doesn't work, in my experience. Every time I've upgraded my iPhone hardware, I have to remove the old device's Okta Verify enrollment and then enroll the new one, yet (as the OP indicated), Okta continues to display the name of the old device in the Okta Verify MFA prompts onscreen. To be clear, Okta Verify continues to work just fine, but Okta's caching the device name somewhere and not updating it when it's replaced with a new one.
