6syjr (6syjr) asked a question.

How to configure SP to send request to requestable SSO urls?

Hi,

I am using Okta as IdP and Auth0 as my SP. I configured my Okta app as SAML app.

I have 2 tenants which have different urls, so I had setup requestable SSO urls with 2 different urls and different indexes.

I setup my SP by using the "Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL" and "X.509 Certificate" provided in "View Setup Instructions". Then, it seems like request is always sent to the url set as single sign on url.

How can I configure my SP to send request to other url in requestable SSO urls?

Best regards,

Lai

I solved my issue by modifying the SAML request on SP side 🙂

Hi, this is Radu from Okta.

We have a feature which allows SP-init SAML requests to specify the ACS endpoint used in the SAML 2.0 infrastructure. It is indeed based on an index number. The index number should be provided / specified on the SP-side so that then you can add the exact same number in Okta at the App configuration phase (Step 2. Configure SAML).

Hi @User16003423933115043497 (MFA and Devices) ,

May I know how to specify the ACS endpoint in the SP-init SAML request exactly?

      For example,

if I am given Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL in the Setup Instructions as below:

      https://{okta tenant}.okta.com/app/{okta tenant}_{okta application}_1/{...}/sso/saml

how can I specify the ACS endpoint by modifying this URL? Is it by adding query like index=0 at the end of URL or...?
