The Okta Software client for Office 365 has been installed as a part of a bundle of applications for an external contractor of a large engineering firm. The contractor was provided with the bundle in order to service his contract with that company.
Ever since that install, the contractors Outlook application, also on Office365 but in his business name, has been unable to access his office 365 account, with the engineering firms Okta O365 login being pervasive regardless of any attempts to uninstall or bypass.
My client can access his Word, Excel, etc with his business O365 account, ensuring that the engineering account is 'signed-out' and Outlook will still prompt for the engineering login.
How can this be uninstalled to allow my client to use his Outlook application. we have uninstalled all the application software associated with this and short of mangling in the windows registry there is no obvious option to uninstall this Okta client.

You can deactivate your Office 365 instance from the Okta Admin panel, by going to Applications and searching for your Office 365 instance. Thanks for the response, but you have missed the point of my situation.
I am not a part of the Engineering business support team. I do not have access to an Okta UI. I do not have access to the documentation you have offered and I cannot "Open a Support Ticket" = "You Do Not Have Access to Create a Case"
I have a client. They are a supplier to one of your customers. My client installed software which included Okta sign-in. Okta sign-in is blocking my client from using their O365 which is my responsibility.
The Engineering firm IT support have been unable to help even though somewhere in their team they deployed Okta.
Regardless, my clients computer has an Okta login that will not go away, cannot be uninstalled by any obvious method, and we need to remove it.

I have the same problem. I am no longer part of the organization that installed the OKTA Agent. How can I remove it from my mac?
Same issue here as well. Any solutions? This is a little ridiculous, considering it's my own personal outlook subscription that is effectively being blocked due to this integration.

Solution: Reinstall windows O/s and Office and DO NOT USE OKTA under any circumstances. One of the most absolute time wasting, counter-productive, piece of B******t ever invented.
Probably great where your IT team is in control of 100% of their systems, but useless when they force feed it to external subcontractors and obliterate their own IT configurations that were working perfectly.
Costly for the external IT consultant who then cannot claim for the wasted time 'fixing' an issue that should never have arisen.
OKTA support? Useless.
