I have a client that's looking to roll out BambooHR, currently they're using profile sync but it looks like the minimum
req'd is going to be User sync.
What attributes need to be checked, exported, verified prior to making this change?
(I know this is quite a broad question as IDP requirements/setup differs quite a bit just after some ideas)

Unfortunatelly i am afraid that profile sync or user sync are not options available for BambooHR provisioning but more of Office 365 integration. Please open a support ticket on https://support.okta.com/ so you can work directly with one of our engineers in order to get more in-depth information about the situation you are facing.
