BradH.36211 (Customer) asked a question.

MSChapV2 in ldapauth

We currently are in the process (Aug-Nov) in migrating our external members from our current solution to Okta. Part of the current solution is the backend LDAP can perform mschapv2 ldapauth for services like EduRoam.

Will the ldaps support in future or sometime very soon MSChapV2. We recognise it's an older protocol but it is one that if it were available would resolve many issues for a lot of people. This is only one-use case.

We can internally use the current Radius integration with solution like the Cisco ASA VPN, but can't use it with a Cisco Wireless Access Controller??? Only Meraki? MSChapV2 would solve a lot of issues.

Thank you for contacting Okta! Cristian here with the Support Team.

Unfortunately, this is not possible at this point, I would recommend that you submit a feature request.

While I was unable to find the Feature Request already listed, here's where you can submit your idea: https://support.okta.com/help/oktaideas

This page is closely monitored by Engineering and used to filter and consider ideas for future implementation.
