Does the Okta agent alert you in any way when you need to install another agent due to user growth?

Does it warn through the okta agent status or in any way? There is only specified that if there are 30,000 users or more, implement a minimum of 3 AD agents, it is not very clear to me.

    This is Bogdan with Okta support.

     

    The agent, currently, does not have any functionality that will notify you when you reach or you are about to reach the threshold for maximum users/ AD agent. As per our KB (https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Directory/ad-agent-prerequisites.htm) We recommend having at least 3 AD agents if there are 30K or more users, exactly like you mentioned, but this recommendation is to have high availability and disperse the high load, but unfortunately there is not warn.

     

    You can suggest this on the Okta Community portal by using the 'Feedback' option at the bottom of the Okta admin console. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members of the community, therefore making it much easier for the engineering team to understand the priorities that you have for feature requests. From there, the PM team will review the top 30 most voted upon ideas each month and provide feedback/roadmap status on these via the forum.
