I signed up for an Okta developer instance (which put me on an "Okta Starter" plan) and have tried adding various types of custom applications. I quickly reached the limit of applications for the plan so disabled and deleted older ones but the "Your plan provides a limited number of custom apps" block is still in place.
Is there any way to continue developing custom apps after this limit has been reached?

As this would require a bit of investigation on your Okta tenant. Can you please open a support ticket with us so we can look into this issue?
You can open a Case by accessing: https://support.okta.com/help/s/cases?language=en_US
► Click on "Open a Case" and make sure that you include all the details about your tenant. In addition make sure you enable Support Access so we can take a look at your settings? Access your Okta Administrative console. Go to Setting -> Account -> Give Access to Okta Support -> Edit -> Enable for 8 hours, Save -> Edit, Extend for 1 Day, Save -> Repeat until extended for 3 days.
