SWA App not recognizing delete Native Okta users

I did below steps steps:

  1. Create an SWA app using AIW. Login URL is just https://random.com <-- not real
  2. Create a native Okta user say XYZ@gmail.com
  3. Assign XYZ@gmail.com to the SWA app.
  4. Import same username using Import CSV. User got auto confirmed.
  5. Now unassigned user from app and deleted from Okta.
  6. Again try to import user from CSV. Okta says "1 existing user unchanged".

 

Q. Why would Okta says so, when I have already deleted this user from Okta? No directory integration is there also.

Q. Should it not be treated as a new user.

Q. And from where is Okta comparing the username. If it is already deleted from UD, how does it know that this username was already confirmed?


  • I've tried to reproduce this particular behavior on my end unsuccessfully, so I believe there are other steps that were not mentioned in this description.

     

    Please open a ticket with support if this needs further investigation.
