Okta Verify iOS displays incorrect MFA keys/numbers

Using iOS Okta Verify app, 6.2.0.

After the recent update it began displaying incorrect MFA numbers for authentications.

If the app has been in background or phone locked and you come back to the app for new key (I need one frequently for AWS logins) the displayed number in the screen is incorrect and not accepted until refresh time passes.

Workaround is now is to use the copy to clipboard (shared to macOS laptop, it's faster anyhow so I'll be using that in the future anyhow) as it copies the correct number which is different than the one displayed on screen.

  • Hi Jouni,

This seems like a bug. I was also able to replicate this issue. I think it would be best if you open up a case with Okta support regarding this.

    Thanks,

    Florin.
