o5g0d (o5g0d) asked a question.
Prior to version 1.50, were were able to change to local primary group (usermod -g newgroup user) of an ASA authenticated user on a linux server and ASA left that change alone.
After version 1.50 (including the 1.51.1), ASA will replace the locally assigned primary group for a user with the group defined in ASA.
- Is this a bug or a feature?
- If it is a feature, is there a way to turn it off?

Hi JT,
There is no such change mentioned in the documentation at https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Adv_Server_Access/docs/group-management.htm Or in release notes . Please create a support case so this can be investigated.
