Tableau - SFDC integration With Okta as IdP
- We have integrated/hosted two apps Salesforce and Tableau server 2018.1 using Okta App, Okta SAML is enabled and acts as IdP for both the applications.
- The need is to embed Tableau server dashboard in Salesforce using Tableau LWC(Lightning web component) and use SSO if user has already signed in to Salesforce (Seamless) .
- We are able see the Tableau Server Sign-in page in the embedded dashboard. When we click on the sign-in button, popup will get open and close automatically and redirects back to the same sign-in page .
- What step are we missing? Do we need to enable iframe (in-frame authentication) in Tableau as well as Okta.

The missing step is correct, you need to enable iFrame in your Okta environment by following:
Before you enable iFrame embedding, please read the Clickjacking warning displayed below the checkbox to understand the risks related to allowing Okta to load in an iFrame.
