    You should only need the QR code to register Okta Verify as an MFA factor.

     

    It depends on how your admins have your Okta org set up, but when you sign in to Okta you may still enter a username and password, and then you're prompted for an MFA factor. If you've not yet been prompted to register Okta Verify then you may be able to register yourself by clicking the drop-down arrow beside the icon on the MFA page and selecting it.
