Hi everyone,
I was not able so far to find clear answers/instructions on this matter.
Objective: signing in to the company Slack workspace by using our Google accounts
Considerations: we don't have a Slack Enterprise plan, so the option "SAML Authentication" is not available in the Slack Authentication pane. This is why we can't configure Okta to use SAML.
I was reading in this page https://www.okta.com/integrations/google-idp/ that we can configure Google as an IdP to achieve such a goal.
Is this possible with Slack? If yes, could you redirect me to some good articles or forum discussions?
Thanks in advance for all your help.

I forgot to describe what we currently have (probably not needed, but just in case): Slack is assigned to our end users so they see the app in their dashboard, however, since we are using SWA, users land on the Slack login page and have to click on "Sign in with Google" in order to access the workspace.
It would be great to configure a seamless sign on experience by telling Okta to use Google as IdP for Slack.
If you have the slack Plus plan, you can enable SSO; you don't need enterprise grid to enable SSO in Slack. If you want to use GSuite as an IDP, this may help: https://support.google.com/a/answer/6357481
Hi ! I'm meeting the same problem, do you resolved it ?
I have the same question for Slack and several other apps that require SWA but we currently utilize social sign-in with Google.
