i1rba (i1rba) asked a question.
I have universal sync enabled and tried to push some groups from OKTA to O365. It works, but they have been created as security groups in O365. I'd like them to be pushed as O365 groups instead (the type of object where you can build Teams on top). Is there a way to do that? Or is there a way to push a security group and make it member of an O365 group?

Are you using user sync or universal sync?
Universal. First 4 words of my post 🙂
Yeah... totally missed that. I don't believe there is a way for a push group to go into a DL or get created as a DL. We ventured down this road some time back with little luck. I'll check my notes from the support case and update here if I find something to the contrary.
Actually I do not want to put the group into a DL. I'd like to put the group into an O365 group, that is not a DL, is another kind of object. If I push a group from OKTA to O365 it is created as security group, that is something not useful for me.
