Office 365 Login Failure - Your account has not been configured for this application on a Google Pixel 4a
Teams and Outlook wont authenticate with Okta properly on a Google Pixel 4a.
It works on all other phones correctly from Samsung to Apple.
Error : Office 365 Login Failure - Your account has not been configured for this application.
The thing is he has access on any other device from an Ipad to testing on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and logs in fine.
Any idea what it can be?
Hi @BrianS.55299 (Customer)! Thank you for contacting Okta customer support! My name is Marcus and I will be assisting you with this.
This sounds like the Google is trying to use the Google Account this is logged into the phone. You can verify this by looking at System Log at the time of generating this error to see what account is trying to authenticate. The error you pasted is because the assertion being made to Okta does not include a configured account that has access to Office 365.
We had to remove the user from the Okta group we use for Office 356 and then let it sync with our AD.
Once that was done added back to Okta and let it sync.
Once sync’d it finally authenticated fine to Okta and allowed Teams and Outlook to load without the error.
