Hi there, we have a few unique situations where we can't use just one email block or activation/reset link for all users. In this case, depending on the user, we need to send different activation emails, password resets, account change notifications, etc.
It doesn't seem to be possible to do this in Okta's built in template changing, so we are looking at using SalesForce Marketing Cloud to trigger emails with specific templates based on the user type. My assumption is that we have to use events and hook into those, but I'm curious if there is another way that is built in to Okta, or if it requires custom wiring up for each email/communication type (and there are quite a few).

Hi Jason, there is an option to improve the provisioning that is Workflows, I don't know if when you mention events and hook you mean this because there is an option to configure that called Event Hooks that works different.
