    Hi Priyadharsini,

Priority can be determined once you have groups assigned to provision Active Directory. Once you have groups configured, you can navigate to Directory > Directory Integrations and select your AD domain. Then click the "Assignments" tab and select "Groups" from that page.

This will show you all of the groups currently assigned to AD, in their prioritized order. The number in the "Priority" column indicates the current group priority.

So in the image below, if the end user was a member of both the AD Provision group and the Admin group, they would be provisioned to the OU dictated by the AD Provision group since it is a higher priority.

    group priority

    Hope that helps!

Just be careful, AD app does not allow you to move the priority of groups once they are assigned (unlike other applications). So you'll want to map out your priority first then assign each as such. Whats bad is if you introduce a new group that needs a higher priority. You would need to unassign all the other groups that would need to be below it first, then assign the new group and then the others under that. Whats even worse is you just deactivated all your users in AD that were only part of those groups (until they are reassigned).

Its workable and just like any good PSA- knowing is half the battle.
