Usage metrics for end-user dashboard

Is there any way to get usage stats on how much the end-user dashboard gets used. Some questions I'd love to be able to answer:

  • How many users visit the end-user dashboard page in a given time period (and how many times)?
  • How many users launched app XYZ from the dashboard in a given time period (and number of launches)?

    Hi Sam,

OKTA dashboard gives you very limited information. I would suggest that if you have Splunk in your environment then Use Splunk Dashboard. Splunk has a very Rich UI & Graphical interface. we have achieved some very nice OKTA graphs using Splunk.

I don't understand how that addresses what I'm asking about. How is Splunk going to know if someone views the Okta dashboard in a web browser? It seems like Splunk could only know about events from the System Log, but as near as I can tell viewing the end-user dashboard is not one of the events in that log. My initial thought was maybe individual apps could get information from the HTTP_REFERER header, but that won't work either because it looks like the referring page is the same (for SAML apps anyway) because of the interstitial page that does the SAMLReponse POST.
