Do you mean that if you launch Outlook (or O365) from an Okta SSO that you're successfully authenticated and can see your client and read the emails, but that you're then unable to open PDF attachments?

Can you open other types of attachments?

Is the behaviour the same if you sign in to Outlook directly, without going via Okta (if you can)?

Correct, I can open read, reply, forward all messages just won't open attachments. I've only tried PDF files.

I don't have Outlook for windows installed, using office 365 via OKTA.

If I need to, I will install Outlook for Android. But was trying to use company email via OKTA connection.

      Thanks much!

Remember, you're still running O365 directly, you're not running it "in" Okta. But Okta handles the authentication to O365, in effect telling O365 who you are and signing you in. It's clearly mostly working since you can access your emails.

But because Microsoft products require different licensing it might be possible that something isn't configured correctly by your Okta admins in how those licenses are managed. I don't know MS licensing well enough to know if it's possible that there's a situation where it lets you see your email but not open attachments.

This is why I asked whether you can open other attachments, or if it's just a problem with PDFs. It would also be interesting to know whether your colleagues can open their PDF attachments, or is it just you having this problem?

Tim, thanks. Probly just me having this issue. I always used outlook on my old phone. This is a new phone and was just trying to avoid installing outlook. I believe my colleagues are using outlook, or whatever comes on the phone.

Sounds like I may just install outlook. I didn't find anything in settings.

        Than for your help!
