I have tried MFA (multifactor auth) provided by okta by setting rules and it works as expected but i am facing challenge in implementing policy or rule to make it work as passwordless authentication.
Hi @pratikm.82485 (Customer) - in the Okta platform today, the way to enable passwordless auth is through our feature called Factor Sequencing, mentioned in the article below. As an Okta Admin, you will need to toggle this on in the Settings -> Features menu.

For the passwordless factor you wish to use, it will need to be turned on in Multifactor and that user will need to be enrolled into it I believe.
In the future, there is a roadmap item under development called Okta FastPass which would enable passwordless auth with Okta Verify.
