FritzP.04285 (Customer) asked a question.
I am working through the AWS SSO setup instructions here: https://saml-doc.okta.com/SAML_Docs/How-to-Configure-SAML-2.0-for-AWS-Single-Sign-on.html
Everything makes sense except when I get to section 6 it says "IdP SAML metadata: Save the following file as metadata.xml, then upload it into AWS."
But the instructions for this step are replaced with "Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value"
No explanation of how to do this is given.
Please send help.

Meta data info will get generate after you configure app - go to signon tab - view set-up instructions..
Hi @FritzP.04285 (Customer) - I found this guide to expand a bit more on details such as generating the metadata.xml from the Okta admin UI:
https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/single-sign-on-between-okta-universal-directory-and-aws/
"download the SAML Meta Data file generated by Okta by clicking the blue link Identity Provider Metadata. I keep this file, I need it later to configure the AWS side of the single sign-on."
