yw8ft (yw8ft) asked a question.
For years I've been able to provision MS Office 365 via Okta - we used 3 MS license types - E3, Essentials & Business. Now, it looks like MS has renamed/changed their plans. In the MS 365 admin console I have licenses for basic, Premium, Standard & E3. I have available licenses for each of these plans.
I now can only assign e3 licenses via Okta w/o getting an Okta error. If in Okta I choose Essentials or Business I get an Okta error.
In addition, as of last weekend I now have another set of checkboxes in MS Office provisioning w/in Okta - They all start with "SPB".
How do I get the right provisioning options for MS Office to show up when I try to assign MS licenses to Okta users within Okta? What has changed?
thanks,

Hello Joseph,
This is Mihai with Okta support, i'm a Tier 2 Engineer.
Most probably the problem is that the O365 licenses were not updated. You can follow this documentation so you can see exactly how to do that: https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/Office-365-license-update-to-Okta-user-assignments
Thank you,
