In case anyone is trying to follow the tutorials for Workflows (https://learn.workflows.okta.com/tutorials/processjson-walkthrough/) , (step 12) I found I had to tick the list box in the Json output before the pluck command would accept the field.

Thank you for providing clarification. The whole point of List - Pluck is to take a list of objects, and produces a sub-list (for example, retrieve a giant JSON list of Okta Users and then, pull out their e-mails and create a new list just with the e-mails). For that, the input to the Pluck card should also be a list object as you mentioned.
