G Suite group push not in time

Hi Support,

I have configured Push groups in G suite App to push group mems in Okta to relevant groups in G Suite, but seems the pushing job is not always working in time. Like if there're some mems changes in a Okta group, Okta didn't push the mem change into G Suite accordingly.

Sometimes I have to click Push now option manually to make it, can someone advise what's the better to do this? or how to trigger the push work in time properly.

    Hi Albert,

     

    This is Marius with Okta T2 support. If a group is being pushed into G-Suite and then you're changing the group membership in Okta, the group membership information should be sent over to G-Suite immediately causing the membership to update on the G-Suite side as well. If you've noticed discrepancies for the Group Push feature, please make sure of the below:

     

    • The target app has been added to the new group.
    • All group members of the new group are assigned to the target app (even if the group itself was not yet assigned).
    • All group members appear as users in the target app.
    • The group you pushed is not the same one you used to assign and provision users to the app.
