OKTA USER DATA

Hi Team,

As We are working on a SSO Solution for Large Migration project in AWS , We came across Okta and need to get some information regarding this.

During the Migration part , we are working on Migrating data and the Geospatial applications to cloud , Apart from this We are even building webportal which shows the Status of all the activities Happening regarding the project

So TO have a SIngle Sign on solution to access the Web portal , Connecting through the RDP for Ec2 instances and if required even the AWS accounts . We are thinking of Having a OKta as SSO so that we can configure the users and directories.

Before FInalising this we need some details regarding the OKTA AD

  1. Where does the Okta store the User data information and how the Authentication FLow will happen.
  2. Where is the Authenticated Data stored if we setup everything in AWS mumbai region.

Our Main Requirement is that During the Authentication flow Data should not got Out of INDIA. can you please confirm this is there any such option available , If So what are the steps that I need to take care to configure that.
