zopqp (zopqp) asked a question.

How can I build a Gatling (SCALA) test script when Okta SSO is in place?

I am new to Gatling and to Okta, but I need to somehow build a Gatling script that authenticates through the Okta protection. I can see that I need to have at least three things to get this to work: SAMLResponse, oktaStateToken, X-Device-Fingerprint.

I can capture the SAMLResponse outside of the Gatling (SCALA) script and save it in a feeder file. The oktaStateToken is beyond my reach because the first time I even "see" it is in a GET cookie. I am trying to read the API information, but since I am so green in this whole world, it still remains beyond me.

Are there any pointers or "Okta for Dummies" type explanations that I can apply in my case?

Thanks,

Randy
