MattW.31970 (Customer) asked a question.
Hi, I have a group rule that adds a user to a group "X" if the user is not part of group "Y".
I have some deactivated users that are not part of group "Y", and when I activate them this rule is not triggered, and they are not added to the group.
The Okta API documentation on group rules from https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Directory/group-rules.htm states:
Remember that group rules are applied to your entire org, and they can be triggered whenever you change a user's profile, group membership, or lifecycle state.
I believe activating a user is considered a lifecycle state change, what is the issue here?
Changing a value in the user's profile after activating them does trigger the rule successfully.
Thanks
