I want to set up the IWA in my environment to use a different name then the server name. I have an A record in DNS made for it but It fails when I use that. What steps do I need to take to make this function in that way?
we do it my adding the subject alt name in the cert
we have 7 IWA servers 1 in each site(each site is diff AD) and have a DNS record of OktaIWA that points to server a in site a server b in site b the cert is oktaiwa.junk.com
drawback is if user from domain a goes to site b it does not work
working on implementing agentless
I am using http for testing and it still does not work. as soon as I use the DNS record it prompts them for a login but if I use the server name it does not.
