Okta Browser plug-in for SWA sign in

We have a setup an application to use the Okta Browser plug-in for SWA sign in. We have the administrator setting the username and the password is the same as user's Okta password. This all works fine when we click the plug-in pop up screen to connect. Is it possible to have it automatically login without having to click the plug-in pop up screen? Thanks

    Hi David,

When you created the SWA application. In the the General tab of the application, there is a check box labeled "Automatically log in when user lands on login page".

    1) If you have this checked, when launching from the Okta User Dashboard it should most certainly sign in unless the URL is slightly varying from what is configured in the SWA app.

    2) If you are going to the page by entering the URL in the browser, the SWA plugin is detecting that you have a credential available for that page and is asking if you'd like to use it. I believe this is the default behavior.

Thanks, we are using the URL in the browser. You are correct it is the default behaviour, it's a shame there's no way to configure it to do the auto login to save the users another click.
