Every post I see about setting a custom application username says to go to the Okta to App tab to override with mapping but I don't see that link. I do see it on the App to Okta tab however. This is for Github if it matters.
on the app assignment page click the pencil then change the username some apps make you click administrator override first
you must also have the admin rites to do it
