ma96g (ma96g) asked a question.

Login Widget only requires the first part of email for username

So when I'm logging into okta using the sign in widget, if I have a user with username 'test@gmail.com' it'll let the user login using just 'test' as the username. If I register 2 accounts, one 'test@gmail.com' and the other 'test@yahoo.com' it'll then make me use the whole email as the login. How can I make it so that it always requires the full email?

Brian or whoever responds to this email,

I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly, but I want to make sure I understand this correctly. If I want to use emails as usernames you consider making sure the user enters their whole username to login to be a "feature"? That seems more like an oversight to me. It just seems ridiculous that I need to basically rewrite the whole sign in widget, just to make sure the user has to enter their whole email addresses to log in. Could you at least give me access to the git, or source code, so I can just add that check?
