40bpr (40bpr) asked a question.

How do I obtain an 'Identity Provider Certificate'?

I am trying to configure SSO within Boomi using Okta and need to obtain an 'Identity Provider Certificate' that Boomi makes mention of that I should be able to get from Admin of ADFS or Okta.

Thanks,

Brett

Thank you for posting on our Community page.

Firstly, if you have the Boomi application already added to your org you could go to you admin dashboard, access application, Boomi app and under the Sign on tab it will appear SAML 2.0. If it is checked then you will see a button "View Setup Instruction" where you will find the certificate that can be downloaded from a link under step 3.

Secondly, if you haven't added the application yet, then when adding it, at the second step "2 Sign-On Options" under "Secure Web Authentication", you will have a SAML 2.0 option which you can check it and get the 'Identity Provider Certificate' from the "View Setup instructions" as said earlier.

Make sure that you added "Dell Boomi" application because it's supporting SAML and the other one doesn't.

    Hi Brett,

Once you've set up SSO to Boomi either using the already defined apps in the Okta Application Network or creating your own SAML integration, you'll find the details on the "Sign On" tab. When you're in that tab, click on the "View Setup Instructions". A new window will open and you'll find a copy the IdP certificate to copy or a link to download it.

    Regards,

    Fred
