KevinH.85424 (Customer) asked a question.

With OKTA Admin changes, how do I find Identity Provider metadata url?

The online documentation still shows that you can go to Administration, Applications, select your application, and use the Sign On tab to select the option to get the Identity Provider metadata url. But all I see at oktapreview.com is Sign On policy.

I either need to know how to access this via the Admin UI for my application, or need to know what the application instance id is to put in the typical url

https://dev-xxxxx.oktapreview.com/app/{whatidgoeshere}/sso/saml/metadata

How is this done now?

    This is how I do:

Go to Applications, click on the required app, go to the Sign On tab. If the app is SAML supported, under view setup instructions, I see a link which says Identity Provider metadata. Open that link in a new tab to see the metadata URL.

    Selected as Best

That's right. Login, use Admin, but from .oktapreview.com I needed to switch from Developer Console to Classic UI. Then Applications, select application, and use the Sign On tab/panel to find SAML 2.0 View Setup Instructions and below it the link to Identity Provider metadata
