2jhyq (2jhyq) asked a question.
We have a few permissions sets where we want Salesforce to do the assignment using an scheduled flow or Apex Trigger when the user record is updated.
We find this is what is happening:
- In Okta PermSetA is not mapped. That is, check box for PermSetA is left blank.
- Okta updates the user
- Salesforce Apex trigger updates the permission on the user
- Okta mapping is applied and is undoing step 3. That is, it is removing PermSetA that was set in step 3.
Is there a way to remove mappings on some Permission Sets? That is, not have it available for mapping in Okta?

Hi Gerald!
In order to verify the Profile Mapping for the Salesforce application, please, follow the steps below:
Admin Dashboard>> Directory>> Profile Editor>> Fill in the search bar with the name of the application, in our scenario Salesforce>> Click Mappings
I'm also happy to share some documentation scoped around this topic below:

For more specific details, please, contact Okta's Customer Support, so we may be able to offer further assistance if needed.
All the best,
Mihail
