How can I integrate OKta in to our SAAS application to allow users to login via Oauth ?
We have a SAAS application, and one of our customers are using Okta in their organization. We want to integrate Okta SSO so that they can use the same to login.
I went through this tutorial -> https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Apps/Apps_App_Integration_Wizard.htm and as mentioned followed the steps for creating an application using OpenID connect wizards.
I created the application as per the doc above, but when I want to add the application to my dashboard I am not able to find it.
As an admin I even assigned my custom application to me, made the application as self service but as a user I am unable to add the application to my dashboard / homepage. Can you please advice ?
Hi Ashwin, thanks for detailing your experience. I've asked my support team colleagues to look in to this.

The Login Initiated By setting specifies whether the app is initiated only in the background or whether either the app or Okta can initiate the login. If you select App Only, the app is started in the background without an Okta chiclet. If you select Either Okta or App, you can utilize an Okta chiclet:
Select the appropriate Application visibility option.
Select the appropriate Login flow option. If you choose Send ID Token directly to app (Okta Simplified), you're also able to choose scopes.
By following the steps above you will display the app to your end user's dashboard.
