MeghaM.18830 (Customer) asked a question.

I wanted to enforce users to login through Okta when they try to login to a standard application

I have many applications added to my Okta dashboard. However, when users try to login to any of these applications, they are presented with an optional okta login which they can ignore. I want to enforce the okta login each time they login to any application. I will need help in enforcing this setting in my admin portal. Please guide.

    Hi Megha Manohar,

    To make an MFA factor required follow the steps;

    Navigate to admin console,

    1. Security > Authenticators > Setup (Select the factors you want to enforce)
    2. Enrollment > Add Multifactor Policy >Select the factors you want to make Required
    3. Save policy

    Thank you for your response. However, enabling MFA is adding extra security (asking for verification code) but not really forcing users to login to Okta when they directly open a web application from the browser. For example when someone enters www.oicm.quickbase.com, I want the URL redirected to Okta for login and then once user authenticates the login for okta, he/she should be navigated to oicm.quickbase.com.
