I have changed the custom regex for my application. This applies to newly added users alone. Should i have to remove all users and assign them again?

Is there a way to make my custom regex to work "on demand" / "on the fly" ? It is a pain to edit for already assigned users.

Removing and re-adding the users shouldn't be needed. What I would recommend doing is to go on the Sign-On tab of the application and there should be an 'Update Now' button that you can select and it will create a job to make sure users assigned to the app will be up to date.

In addition to this, you can also Refresh Application Data by going to Applications - More.

    Hope you find this helpful.

    Kind regards
