amvov (amvov) asked a question.
I've seen several posts on here asking about MFA support for Microsoft Remote Desktop Gateway, but I've found no answers on how to implement this with Okta. I've asked customer support and I feel like I'm getting the runaround - whoever I speak to either doesn't know what I'm talking about or tells me about MFA for RDP client and forthcoming support for RDWeb, neither of which is directly relevant to RD Gateway.
Can anyone provide any information on whether Okta has MFA support for Remote Desktop Gateway on the roadmap? If not, what gives, Okta?? Duo has had this since 2013!

Hi Andrew,
As you already know we have the RDP MFA app, however, at this time MFA for Remote Desktop Gateway has not been tested and we've been able to find no internal documentation in regards to this.
Further, I`ve researched the Beta programs and also our product roadmap and found no details in regards to a project for supporting MFA for Remote Desktop Gateway.
Given that this is quite a viable Feature that would be great to implement in the future I'd like to encourage you to raise this as a Feature Request over our Okta Community by using the "Suggest a feature" option at the bottom right hand side of your Okta admin dashboard, or by logging in to your Okta Admin Panel -> Help and Training -> Community -> Ideas -> Submit an Idea.
Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members of the community, therefore making it much easier for the engineering team to understand the priorities that you have for feature requests.
Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility. Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.
Thank You,
Alexandru Preda
I just submitted this as a feature idea in the Community.
Yeah, this is something that really needs a priority push from Okta.
Anyone has figured out how to make this work yet?
