In an SSO environment using Chrome as the browser, is it normal to have to log into Okta (via the plug in) every time you open Chrome? Once its done it is fine, but close Chrome down, reopen it and you have to log back into Okta again?

Is this only happening in Chrome, but working in other browsers? And is it only happening in Chrome on your system or systems in your environment, or is it happening on any Chrome browser you try, even a home computer that is not part of your corporate network?
If this is isolated to your Chrome browser, I suspect this is a browser config issue and not an Okta issue. From the behavior you described, it sounds like the Okta session is ending after you quit Chrome and open it again. The cookies Okta leaves in your browser allows it to continue an existing session, even after closing and opening the browser. I recommend checking Chrome for two configuration items: Is Chrome configured to accept cookies, and is Chrome configured to delete cookies upon closing?
